OMG! I have received dozens of calls at work and on my cell phone from a man with a very thick Indian sounding accent. When he calls he says that it is important about my social security number and a legal matter. I have tried on several ocassions to get the specifics of who I owe $695 to. All this person will tell me is that it is in regards to a pay day advance that I took out in 2009 from either Cash Advance USA or Cash Net USA.

When I ask any questions I am yelled at and told that if I don't pay I will be served with legal papers and arrested or I am told that the calls will continue until I make the right decision to pay the amount I owe. The last time I attenmpted to resolve the matter over the phone, I asked to speak with the caller's supervisor and he asked to speak with mine!!

My co worker has received the same type of calls in an effort to get more infomration about me. Of course she tells the caller that I am unable to receive his calls at work or something else to get him off the phone. (I gave her a heads up) Last time she took the call the caller told my co worker that she can expect legal papers at the office and the police to take me off to jail in about 7-10 working days.

I called the phone number to the only place that I have ever taken a payday loan out EVER and they were VERY helpful. I was given a 2nd number to call which is a legitimate collection agency called NCA. I Spoke with a very nice rep named Dustin who told me that he receives many calls everday about this scam company. He assureed me that I had no open account with his agency and owed no money to any of his clients (which also happen to be CashNet and Cas Advance USA) He told me that his boss even called the scam company and was told that he was speaking to "Ricky Martin" when he inquired the scammer's name.

Dustin thinks that this ACS scam place hacked into a computer and took information of debtors or they bought names and numbers from an illegitimate company and that is why they have so much infor on us victims when they call.

Dustin said DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!! He also said that if you are firm with them and even tell the caller that you are recording the call and you will be making a police report, they will stop calling. I plan to try this soon:)

That is all it is - forget the police report because they cannot be found. If/When they call back tell them you KNOW it is a scam and hang up
