I too am in Vancouver, WA and have been dealing with these idiots for a few weeks. I have come to find out a lot about their scam. Please file a report with the FTC, FBI and Attorney General in Washington. Also, the email you received came from a gmail account. A company will NEVER send an email from a gmail, hotmail, etc. account. They won't provide you any proof of debt (except a bogus email). They usually ask people to go buy a pre paid visa card to pay the debt, not to activate them but call with the activation code. Ha! They are idiots. PLEASE don't give them any info. Just hang up. If it becomes unbearable, you may need to change your number. I actually called them back several times and bothered them, they don't like that. Their numbers aren't traceable. I am not about to let these people scam others. Please file those reports..it's the only chance we have of catching them.
