DO NOT BUY ACT 2013. It is (cough, purposely, cough) NOT COMPATIBLE with Office 2013 and they force you to upgrade for at least 179.00 to version 16.... well, ACT / SAGE we are still in 2013 for at least another 3 months. Misleading. Why not just remove any information relating to ACT 2013? You will read this and propose some horse manure counter argument, but it is going to be misleaeding. ACT 2013 should be compatible with Outlook 2013 until December 31st, 2013. But your cheesy snappy comeback will be like- hey, we are ahead of the curve.... blah, blah, blah, suckering all people who buy ACT SAGE 2013 for the next three months being held hostage to upgrade or your software won't work. DECEPTIVE at very least, FRAUD at best.

act does have a blurb on their site addressing this issue. and they are not Microsoft either. I am just pissed off I buy an expensive piece of software and now I have to buy an expensive upgrade...
NEW RULE:
before buying any software from any manufacturer I guess you have to CALL them direct and ask a million questions including shelf life, compatibility blah blah blah before reaching into your wallet. 2013 doesn't mean 2013 universally....
