Action Cooling and Heating Inc. Affordable heating and Cooling Inc. Questionable business practices now has changed name and makes calls saying the company has been bought & under new ownership. The same people own and run the operation. Ft. Myers, Florida

This company (Affordable) had caused my elderly mother quite a bit of problems that still are not resolved. If you check the BBB site they have numerous complaints and have earned a F rating. They have reorganized under the name Action. The Better Business Bureau gives this "new" company a B+ rating. Beware, if you look at the organizational charts for both you will see the same names. They recently called my mom to inform her that the company has been sold and new people have taken over, a very big lie. They have tried to do more work for her but she has refused. They will continually call and wear you down, specially older folks. Don't be taken for a ride on this one. As with all repair jobs always get several quotes in writing, more than three quotes. Don't get rushed into any service and stay in charge. As you can see even checking the BBB site can have its problems.

My mom informed me today that Action was coming to her house tomorrow to work on her air conditioner. I reminded her of the situation and we called their service and canceled. Be vigilante because they certainly are. If you are caring for a live at home elderly parent or relative stay on top of things.

I would not ever recommend Affordable or Action for any job. They are the same people and they still can not be trusted to tell the truth.
