This is a total scam. Do not order this!
I ordered a free trial of Adaptive Eye Complex online, and read the fine print that said it was a trial an needed to be cancelled in 14 days to avoid being charge $89.95 for another shipment. During the ordering process I was automatically redirected to another website for a skincare product called Nexacell. I declined to order Nexacell, but an order for a free "trial" of Nexacell went through anyway. Since it was only $4.95 I wasn't overly concerned.
After receiving both "free" trials I called the phone number that came in the packaging -- it was the same number for both products. I was able to cancel the Nexacel (at least I think so, as there have not been anymore charges to my card for it.) However, I was told I had the wrong number for cancellation of Adaptive Eye Complex. They could not give me a correct number.
I called the same number a few days later and was allowed to cancel that product. I received an email confirming the cancellation on March 8. The confirmation email showed the order date to be March 7th. However, also on March 8th a charge in the amount of $89.95 appeared on my credit card.
After several attempts to reach a human at the number shown on the credit card transaction, I spoke woth a woman who was argumentative, and gave me a lot of double talk that made no sense. Ultimately she old that they would not refund my money. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she said she was the only one with the authority to handle my complaint.
It is now 10 days later. Despite the charge to my credit card for a product that I cancelled, no product has arrived. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company so will see what happens.

Similar incident with Adaptive Eye Complex

It is a scam! We just encountered a similar situation with this product. This product burned my wife's skin and left a rash around her eyes with the free trial. Of course, the product is ordered immediately after the 14 day trial period. We contacted the number on our bank statement and requested a refund for the full order of two products, approx $180. The customer service representative repeated the same thing over and over, that he could cancel the order going forward, but the two products could not be refunded. After explaining that similar products that reacted with my wife's skin were immediately refunded, the CS rep said that was not their policy. The charges to our bank account were placed on Sunday, so they know will automatically pay out on Monday. We will attempt to dispute these charges with our bank on Monday with hopes for a refund.
