I went to the company to discuss refinishing my truck. They promised to refinish the truck and provide the same or better quality than a paint job. We discussed how meticulous I am and they assured me the proper prep work would be done. I picked up the truck and immediately saw the old color underneath the coating and noticed there were many places that weren’t even covered in the plasti-dip. I picked up the truck in the dark so couldn’t get a full view of the work. The owner had actually parked my truck in a dark area so I couldn’t see the work. I then had to have him move his vehicle so I could bring my truck into the light. The next day I looked at the truck and the outcome was much worse than I expected. There was bubbled up areas all over the truck and many areas that had already started peeling. I tried to open the passenger door and to my shock it was stuck to the inside door jam. I pulled harder and it opened but stretched the plastic finish from the door to the jam like it was a piece of gum.
I phoned the company and they immediately refused to work with me or give me a refund before I had even asked for anything. Do not use these this company. They do not provide a services worth a d**n and the quality of their work is atrocious. I am now having to pay to have this terrible finish removed from my truck.

I did research before going to Addiption, saw this report and was a little hesitant to use them but went ahead with the work. I am so happy I did! This guy must of been out of his mind. The owner was very polite and business oriented. He worked over the weekend to accomodate my busy work schedule. My car came out amazing! Please if you are possibly interested in using Addipiton don't pay any attention to the comment made by the guy claiming he was ripped off. This is a great up and coming company that only deserve positive attention.

Proof of Service, Anthony is scamming for money

A loyal customer of mine showed me this report last night.
I am an employee of this company and can provide detailed information proving this customer is a scam artist.
When the customer, Anthony, showed up he signed a legal document stating we were to sand his truck down as best as we can and lay the dip over it.
He also agreed upon many many more services, rims, taillights, blacking out.
His total owed to the company was rather large.
We took a few days on his vehicle just to prep it for spraying, it was in terrible condition.
We contacted him to let him know that the sanding process was much more then we expected, but that out of our pocket, we would continue.
After spraying, the customer came to pick it up in the evening and we pulled the truck into the extremely well lit paint shop and he checked everything out. He did not complain or sound upset or ever compair the work to a real paint job.
The following day, the owner of Addiption and some crew were helping the owner move into his new house, and a phonecall from Anthony was placed. He was cussing and yelling from the get go. We had to calm him down to even understand what was going on. He said that we needed to fix a peeling spot, and the owner calmly let him know we were in the middle of a move and at that current moment nothing could be done. He let him know he would contact him back as soon as things were settled down for the evening.
As soon as the phone was hung up, the threats from this customer rolled in.
The rip off report was posted, and our assistant contacted him to see how we could resolve the matter. In his words "this s*** sucks! I dont care for it and I am not going to have you touch it up! It is not a REAL paint job!!"
She tried to reason with him and he wanted no help in the matter whatsoever. He again threatened the company and her and in his own words said: "I will have the last laugh!"
He went to another dip shop for the small touch up spot around a tiny light and right after that, he contacted PayPal to begin his scam.
He has filed with PayPal and his credit card company that we "SOLD him merchandise" and he is requiring a reverse payment.
Unfortunately, he wont win this scam.
Below are photos of his truck before and after. The difference we made on his vehicle is only for the better, and he thinks he is going to get it for free.
If there arent enough of those scammers out there already.
We no longer wish to deal with this customer and will not have any further contact towards trying to resolve the issue.
Thank you,
Employee

Some people will always hate the dip...

I just wanted to say, I am not an employee of this company but I have had many things done through them, and with that being said, have never in any way been treated poorly. I messed up a corner of my dip by parking too close to a curb and the guys repaired it, for free after offering money.
Ive been a huge fan of dip since I got my mirrors done... Its led from one thing to another. Ive been into it for over a year... its sad to say but this report sounds extremely fake. Possibly another shop trying to cut out the competition!?
First of all I call bulls* on anyone saying that someone promised you better quality than a real paint job. For one, you should not be getting dipped if you think that. Dip has its own look.... and its pretty awesome.
There will always be haters thogh. If this really did happen, then dude, why did you get plasti dip if you couldnt handle a little peeling? Ive had a 2000 dollar wrap job done by the best in orlando and had to have it redone because it messed up.. Theres no way this company refused you to fix a problem. They welcomed me back and denied my offer to pay, when the damage was MY fault.
I also call bulls* on harrassment. Your post sounded legit until you added another story book to it. Sounds like a complete hater to me,
I call bulls* again when you say other shops remove items to keep dip from peeling. What in the heck would they remove to keep it from peeling? Its a REMOVABLE product, and based on your really crappy photos (assuming you dipped this yourself) how could another shop have removed that grill area? It doesnt come off.
Sorry but... again. This story is so fake. Haters will always hate the dip..... And once and for all, if youre expecting a real paint job, go get one.... dont be cheap. You get what you pay for, right? 4 grand, or... say... 500 bucks.
Dip is awesome, the look is so unique, and best of all, its removable. There isnt one person on the face of the earth who can make dip stick like real paint. So... write a true story next time.
Peace!

I received a hostile phone call from the office of addiption this morning.
"Hey, I was calling to schedule warranty work and I came across this rip-off report."
The business owner called to scedule 'warranty work'. Not only did the company president deny the rude comments made to me last Saturday when I called to explain my dissatisfaction with his work. During today's phone call, there was actually a personal threat not only to me, but my business, made by the owner and his girlfriend. "You don't KNOW who is in MY family."
So, it seems, not only is Addiption auto color unprofessional, they are hostile and threaten their dissatisfied customers. There are many other professional companies (with tools and a REAL shop) that will disassemble parts that need to be removed, before spraying, to insure a quality job, without peeling.
A vehicle serviced by addiption 'will not peel for years'. My vehicle was peeling less than 24 hours later after simply driving it home.
Unprofessional.Charges extra for items not properly completed (extra prep work)
Threatening to customers.
Poor workmanship (overspray INSIDE my vehicle, where I was assured it would be taped off.)
I would not trust addiption auto color to paint a dog house.
