My wife suffered a severe back, injury which has left her disabled. Needless to say she lost her $50,000.00++ a year job.
Then the shop I worked in closed due to poor management and I lost my $55,000.00 job. I saw the ad for Adelphia Publishing and thought a work-at-home-job might just be the thing.
Adelphia Publishing asked for a guarauteed refundable deposit of $40.00 up front for materials and promised it to be returned when I sent out the first box of stuffed envelopes they were to provide me with.
Instead I got another letter requesting another $120.00 for the privledge of receiving the highest amount of envelopes to be stuffed.
This was in May 2003.
We cannot find a website to contact them through and have requested a refund of our $160.00 which has fallen on deaf ears.

I feel badly for you

Hello, it is texino captain of the truth. I think you have been hoodwinked in this matter and will not see your money again in this life.
If you want to work at home, you really must find an actual firm who requires your unique service. Since you can recognize bad management, perhaps you should consult for other shops, so they do not suffer the same fate as your previous job. What ever you do, please remember that anything that comes to you via email or on the web is going to be suspect; it is the new American Way.
In closing remember, if you are not working and net below $50,000 you are poor. Do not forget that poor people cannot afford new cars and cell phones, so don't even think about that sort of thing until you are back on your feet.
Best wishes and luck.
Texino
