 This "shelter" and owner need to be shut down immediately for the animals sake. It might sound harsh but those animals are better off dead than suffering in that place they call a shelter. One, if you walk inside it's immediate disgust just looking at all of the animals running around in a filthy place that it makes you feel so bad and just want to get them all out. Our story: we adopted a puppy 6 weeks old from them and had her not even two weeks before we were thousands of dollars in debt and we're grieving the loss of our new puppy. Our puppy was suffering from parvo (a deadly disease) and ammonia. We did follow protocol ESP after seeing the place and got her right to the vet to be checked. We called Meredith the owner who had a child answer the phone at first. Then we finally spoke to her and she stated "she would not answer any of our questions until we told her when our puppy got sick" which is upsurd considering we had her not even two weeks. She started yelling at us through the phone being very disrepectful. She continued to call us back and leave voicemails as if she was covering her tracks. She knows what she is doing and they are Ripping people off for their own benefit. She also would not give us the name of the veterinarian that released our puppy. She absolutely refused and it was not written on any of our forms. Fraud. These animals are living in filthy conditions and they need to be shut down.

We are very familiar with this situation. We were never contacted by this individual until after the pup had passed. When we were contacted it was by phone. A 15 year old volunteer answered the phone(no we do not make a practice of this but this day she did). She was cursed at by your boyfriend calling her every name in the book. When the phone was handed to me your boyfriend hung up. We then got a repeat call from the same number and were hung up on again. We had to reverse look up your number to find a name and then pulled your contract. When you were called back by us you refused to give us any information on what happened to your puppy. You yelled at us and cursed at us. I was present for this phone call and was there when Meredith was speaking with you. Our vets name is not a secret and is on the paperwork you receive. We include clinic information with all adoptions. You also receive a health certificate with that Vetrinarians name as well so those are false statements. When you came to adopt you must of thought us fit to adopt from because you did not hesitate to complete the process. We could not have been that disgusting. I remember your adoption and remember thinking you were such a young couple and maybe not ready for a puppy. I didn't follow my gut that day, gave you and your boyfriend the benifit of the doubt you seemed like such a nice couple. You were explained at length at what to watch for and what not to expose your puppy to. As well as to comeback to us should there be any problems. We were NEVER notified by you about your puppy being sick. You have vet bills because you did not bring the puppy back for treatment. We have our vet on call 24/7 and a vet hospital for more intense treatment. You have been very difficult to work with and would not answer any of our questions. The rest of the litter was called and none of them fell sick. We do understand that emotions run high especially when there is heartbreak involved. I have no doubt you loved your puppy I just wish you would have given us the chance to make it right rather then curse out a young volunteer and hang up on us. Even now if you would like to work a solution our doors are open to you.
