ADKids NY Don Voight Unprofessional Unethical and disrespectful New York, New York

Usually I won't do something like this, but I feel so disrespected. We visited the NY office recently and everything looked good in the beginning. Don Voight explained everything to us and was nice, however throughout the interview I was having iffy feelings about this as his mood would constantly change, If we asked anything that seemed like we "knew" about their reputation he would get moody. I knew something was wrong, so at the end of the interview we asked him to give us some time to think. First of all he was forcing us to decide right there on the spot. I told him I need some time to think it all over before we commit to any contracts, he then started getting VERY aggressive stating things like "What is there to look for?", and "Anything you need to check up on, you can do here on my computer". - It was mentioned that I worked on the internet, so I would assume that put him on the edge. He even offered to look his company up on BBB for me, which really holds no weight or wouldn't have helped anyway.

I am very happy we didn't sign up for this, he pretty much ended up kicking us out of the office as he was upset we didn't want to sign the contract on the spot. When we spoke to the secretary she advised that we can just come in and see how it works, obviously that was not the case.

Mr. Vought, your actions at the end of our interview is what made it rock solid for us. We will never choose to work with you now, or in the future. You basically kicked us out of your office, and lied to us.. and by the way you showed us 9 kids that our son would be up against.. did you mean 60? For future reference.. it's OK to allow people to walk out of your office and think for a bit, I really would have gotten back to you the same day, or the next morning. You knew you what you were doing.. you knew I would find all of these scam reports on the internet so you wanted a commitment then and there. If you conducted business correctly in the first place, you would not have had to worry about that.

You are really disrespectful and unethical, you are not a people's person and have no respect what-so-ever. You made it seem like you guys don't get ANY business which was another red flag to us. I wish you the best of luck, and I feel for the people who have been having trouble with your company.

Good luck, we are now working with another agency who conducts themselves as professionals. I am sure you know who I am as you know how the situation took place.
As I do believe and hope people change, I might be willing to eventually update or if possible remove this report, depending on the reports I see in the upcoming months. I will get automatic e-mail alerts whenever ADkids is mentioned in any report.

To those who are actually looking for a proper agency, I will be updating this report with the name once I confirm that it will be OK. There will also be more, as time goes on and I continue finding more. I hope people can use this as a resource to save themselves the trouble, I can only imagine what would happen if a single parent ended up in Don Voight's office, his reaction was out of this world. Not to mention, he literally forced us out of his office.
