AFTER LEASING MY TRUCK ON TO THIS COMPANY FOR A FOUR YEAR PERIOD,WHICH INCLUDED BUYING INSURANCE THRU THE FLEET COVERAGE I LEARNED I COULD BUY THE SAME INSURANCE FROM THE SAME PEOPLE FOR 100$ LESS A MONTH. THATS 1200$A YEAR.
ALSO AFTER HAVING ONE ACCIDENT EVER IN A LIFETIME OF DRIVING. THAT WAS USED AS AN EXCUSE TO CANCIL MY LEASE. OK THEY CAN DO THAT, BUT I WAS IN THE STATE OF MAIN UNDER LOAD. AND THEY NEVER SAID A WORD UNTILL I SENT IN MY PROOF OF DELIVERY,FOR PAYMENT. SO I DIDNT GET PAID. WAS 950 MILES FROM HOME AND HAD NO MONEY..NO FUEL.
NOW THIS WAS AFTER I RECIEVED 2 PREFORMANCE AWARDS FOR DOING OVER 180000$ IN BUSINESS. AND 2 SAFTEY AWARDS.
SO AFTER I INVESTED 80000$ OF MY MONEY AND FOUR YEARS OF MY LIFE, AND RAN MYSELF TO THE POINT OF BANKRUPCTY, THESE FOLKS ON A WHIM CAN SAY SEE YOU LATTER. IF THEY DONT LIKE YOU.. IS THAT FAIR?
TO ALL WHO MAY LEASE ON TO THIS COMPANY, WATCH OUT! ALL IT TAKES TO SINK YOURSELF IS TO PISS OFF THE MENOPAUSAL COWS THEY HAVE WORKING IN ACCOUNTING, AND THE C.E.O. WILL TRY TO APPEASE THEM WITH YOUR A**..WHEN THE TRUTH IS IF THEY CAN NO LONGER HANDLE THE JOB THEY SHOULD BE RETIRED..ALONG WITH THE CEO

BACK OUT OF LOADS? YOUR AGENTS WILL HANG ONE IN A GUYS A** QUICK.. AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU GOT TO SAY ABOUT ME GO AHEAD. AND AS USUAL ITS ALWAYS THE DRIVERS FAULT.... NEVER MANAGEMENT. YOU USED TO BE A GOOD COMPANY TILL YOUR PEOPLE STARTED TRYING TO CLIMB THE CORPORATE LADDER. WHO DO YOU PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE MY PARENTS?

What this driver fails to tell you is that he had numerous documented reports of backing out of loads. He also has reports of being unreasonalbe to customers. Plus another issue that I am not a liberty to discuss.
I have also dealt with this driver personally and he is not an easy driver to deal with at all. And I deal with alot.
If you follow the rules of proper conduct and are reasonable, you will not have issues at any company.
Admiral is a Good, Stable Company, and has many, many happy drivers leased to them. They are honest and fair and sometimes gives contractors more chances than they deserve. Alot of companies would not give them those same chances.
As far as running himself into bankruptcy, he needs to look at the "other" issue I was talking about.......................talk about being honest?????

They charge you what is being charged to the company. They do not up charge any fees to the owner operators. You have the choice of getting insurance and base plates on your own.
You go through the company and that is your choice. If you can find a better deal, more power to you. Don't blame the company because of your choice or decision.
