When I originally discovered that fraudulent charges were made on my account, they told me to file a dispute- NOT a fraud report.

I have repeatedly called to get the status of the investigation. Only when I became utterly irate and refused to take no for an answer did they tell my that my claim was denied, and that I could expect a letter of explanation in the mail in 7-10 days.

They told me that they had contacted the ATM company where I "supposedly" made the transaction and that the ATM company confirmed that I had swiped my card and entered my PIN, which of course, I did not.

I contacted the fraud department of the company that I had originally thought allowed the bogus transaction and since he had no record of my card ever being used in their system. When we finally got someone on the phone, the Fraud rep asked the ADP rep what the terminal number was for the machine that dispensed the money.

The ADP rep told him that she had no access to that information. She then read a bunch of canned responses over and over again until he caught her in a lie when ADP told him they had contacted the merchant. The Fraud rep told her there was no way to contact the merchant without the terminal number. The ADP rep knew she was busted and tried to skirt the issue.

We found that the transaction had been made on an ATM for a different company so I called them and their Fraud department had NEVER been contacted by ADP, but they denied my claim anyway.

The Fraud rep told me that when I let ADP know t hat I was not in Las Vegas at the time of the transaction, they should have filed a fraud report, NOT a dispute, but a dispute is easier to deny.

The business where the fraud occurred has been very kind and helpful and they are currently reviewing their security tapes to prove that I wasn't there.

ADP reps have repeatedly denied me contact information for their fraud department. I had to call back 6 or 7 times to get the contact info and when I finally got a number, the fax wouldn't go through.

I can't be the only person that this is happening to! Speak up People!
