This company called Adsmith Survey Pro Inc. sent me a letter in the mail, saying congratulations, you have been selected to participate in a paid Consumer Research Program in your area of residence as a mystery shopper. They told me that I had two assignments to do. The first one was to send a money gram and send 4,440 to julian and my last name in the united states or canada. Fax a paper to them on the form that they sent me, evaluating their services.
Next I was to go to one of the retail sores: Home depot, gap, jc penny, walmart, k-mart or sears, where I would spend $105.00 while evaluating their consumer service. They said that I could keep the merchandise that I purchased. Then upon completion of the assignment fill out the second market response form and the fax it to them. Then after that it said to give them a call before deposting the check in to my bank account.
Well I tryed to call for about 2 days and every time that I would call, it would just go to a answering machine, and well I thought that that was really wierd. So I googled them and the rip-off report came up for somebody just like me and had the same thing happen to them except the company actually got money from them.
They told me that:
The probation training pay was $300.00
Required fund to be transferred was $4,400.00
Money Gram service charges was $150.00
Funds needed for shopping was $105.00
Now I got excited because I thought that I was going to finally beable to help out my husband with money every week, with a job that I could actually do. See I am pregnant with my second baby and I have a 7 month old. But If it wasn't for this web site and the people on it I would of done the wrong thing and they would of got all the money that we have to survive on. Which isn't alot as it is, So Thank you guys so much!!!!!!!!

October 21, 2008 I mailed a check from my company AdSmith Promotions on Bluebonnet Road in Dallas. The check which was to pay a vendor in MN never arrived and was most likely stolen at the post office by a postal worker who passed it on to crooks who copied the account and routing number and printed thousands of fake checks on my account with my company name, a similar address to mine and forged copy of my signature. These were sent with letters as you described all over the country. Many people depoisited or cashed the checks and they were presented at my bank. My bank recognized them as forgeries and returned them all. A number of people wired the money and found they were obligated to return the money to the bank or check cashing service. Quite a few of those people have called me after finding my phone number on the internet. The stories are desperate and heartbreaking to hear.
AdSmith Promotions on Bluebonnet Road in Dallas, Texas is not associated in any way with AdSmith Survey Pro Inc or any survey company whatsoever. The checks I have seen appeared to have been mailed from Canada.
