Like another victim, Cathy, I also ordered a free trial of the Colgate product for a $4.99 fee thinking it is just that - a free trial. There was no mention of the fact that I have to cancel after 14 days otherwise subsequent shipments will be sent to me at a stiff price of $88.97!

Being retired and with very limited resources, plus the fact that a family member is undergoing cancer treatments who needs my help, I called the company to ask to return the 2nd shipment for which I will be billed $88.97. However, I was told that the company policy stands and cannot be broken no matter what.

I have long been a loyal patron of Colgate but practices like this put an ugly stain on their reputation and they should be made aware of it.

I am appealing to the Better Business Bureau and other government agencies and all civic-minded lawyers to please help us poor victims of this rip-off!
