I received notice today from Advanta that they are raising my APR to 35.69% effective July 2. This is the second large jump--after the first year at 7.99 it shot up to 21%, with no explanation offered.(Yes, I should have cancelled it THEN.) This account has remained in good standing since it was opened--no late payments, no missed payments, balance always well under the credit limit.
