The past owner, Randy, died several years ago.  It has new ownership, and hasbproven to be a valuable, honest supplier.  I highly recommend doing business with Advantage Drills.

We have been manufacturing diamond tooling for over 30 years with over 2000 consumers using the products with no problems. This consumer requested a diamond core to drill bottles. After great length in explainning the procedure of use, he purchased the diamond core metal bonded. A days later he called and told me the bit was not cutting the glass. As is asked what RPM he was using, whas he using water, and others, I asked him to send the bit back to inspect. Upon receiving the bit back the cutting edge was mushroomed out and burnt along with being black.Severe downward pressure will do this. I called the man and eventually found he used the bit at a low or slow RPM, which was explainned at the initial purchase, is totally incorrect. I offered to even send a replacement bit. He then became rude, argumentative, and out right threatning. I immediatley told him I would not be talked to in that manner and hung up the phone. He immediatley called back and became insane with screamming.Through the attempt of communicating he explained to me that he had been drilling glass for four years and no one knew how to do this better than he.
The next day he began calling my secratary, 7 times,and cursing using profane language at her and stating he was going to complain and cause harm to the company and us! I am the chief engineer for this company and have been manufacturing diamond tooling for over 30 years. given classes and seminars for large corperations and schools. Never was I vulgar or profanic! This person has a severe mental disorder and needs pitty. There are insecure mentally deranged people out there trying to take advantage of people and companies for self gradification.We strive for quallity and service. But all tooling has to be used properly and it is not the fault of the manufactuer if it is not used propperly.
