Definitely would not recommend these guys to a friend.
Purchased a Range Rover re-manufactured engine from these guys (they also do business under www.Rover-Engine.com). They stated their engines had a 1 year warranty. Had my Rover shipped there and had them do the engine swap.
Took it to the local Rover dealer for the first oil change and some suspension work. The dealer called me about the engine and suggested some significant engine work was required. I explained to them that I had just had a re-manufactured engine installed. The Rover dealer declined to work on the engine and told me to take it back.
When I called these guys they told me that they would take a look at it but the labor to diagnose the faulty engine was not covered under warranty and they would have to bill me. Most absurd warranty policy I have ever heard of. So I am out $10K, have an engine that doesn't run correctly, and they want to charge me to tell me what they did wrong.
Just a topper they told me it is probably my fault because I waited 2,000 miles to change the oil and didn't change it at 1,000 miles!

"The customer sent Advantage European Auto Parts, Inc. a report from the Land Rover dealer stating that had been driven to the dealership with low engine oil."...This is true they dealer did note that the oil was low and very dirty but it was not low enough to trigger the idiot light for low oil. When I explained that is was a new re-manufactured motor they were amazed at how dirty the oil was after only 2,000.
"The customer was advised that Advantage European Auto Parts, Inc. would inspect the engine in or out of the vehcustomer either was delivered to Advantage European Auto Parts, Inc.. It was further explained that at over 1000 miles and approximately 3 months of operation it wamourn likely that the engine had premature component or assembly error."...This is not true. They offered to inspect it at my cost. Obsured that you would have to pay for an inspection while something is still under warranty. Ever here or a warranty like that?
"The failure was likely due to neglect of maintaining proper engine oil level as the customer had never checked the level."...I have statements from 3 mechanics that the noise this engine is making is absolutely not possible from engine oil being a quart low after 2,000 miles.
"The customer insisted that the damage be repaired with no inspection to determine yet he failure and at no cost to them."...This is not true. I only objected when they explained that the cost of the inspection to determine the engine failure wwas my responsibility. I am still trying to get them to honor the warranty and repair or replace my engine.
