I receivede an E-mail advertisement and this company was one of the ones in the ad. I didn't go to their site but, transacted my business through the advertisement site.
I thought I was getting a free language course for $6.95 Postage and Handling. That is the way I understood the way the advertisement was written. I thought it was a lead in to try to sell me something more later.
When I received the package with the language CD's I discovered it was only a 14 day free trial. Unless I called and cancelled and returned the lessons, I would be charged $59.95 per month on my credit card for the language lessons. That was unacceptable.
Not only did I get ripped off for the $6.95 to ship the package to me, I had to pay again to return it so as to avoid being charged $59.95 per month for an indeterminate amount of time.
