Could someone please help me, or point me in the direction of someone who could? This is regarding an experience I had with a company called "Advent Product Development". This happened some time ago, but recently, I've seen something that has me up in arms. I went to ADP back in 2006 with my idea. I was told by George Galvin that I had a winner, of course there was protocol to follow and part of that protocol was to put money down to get the gears in motion in order to have ADP represent me. The promise was that they were going to work feverishly to bring my invention idea to market, and that they were going to do it within a two year time window. If they were unsuccessful in doing so, they were going to come to me at the end of the contract and give me a detailed explanation why. $12,000 was paid to them. In the two year time frame, I was provided with cheaply printed brochures, a stock looking "Press Release", a CD-Rom , and a list of companies they intended to contact. I was hardly ever contacted. I always had to reach out to ADP and when I did so, I was shuffled around from desk to desk until ultimeately I would end up in someone's voicemail by the end of the call and with no returned calls to me. The two years came and went, I was never notified of anything be it progress or failure. I gave up ashamed of having lost all that money to these scam artists. Flash forward. Years later, I am seeing videos on Youtube as well as advertisements in magazines marketing the very same concept that I created. It's almost as if ADP sold the idea to a company, sat on the deal for two years and when the contract between myself of ADP expired, that's when my creation happened. Please help me.
