Flyer came across the fax at my place of employment at DTE Energy. Since I was looking to plan a surprise birthday party February 13th - 16th and the flyer did not specify there were date limitations I decided to call. I was connected with Karen. I asked karen if I could get a Las Vegas package staying at the Excalibur Hotel with the travel dates of Feb 13-16th. I indicated these were the only dates I wanted because Feb 13th was the recipients birthday and the day I wanted to have the party. I was told absolutely. I also asked about an additional day in Las Vegas because the flyer was for 3days /2 nights. I was told yes, but I would have to pay an additional sucharge at the time I made the arrangements and the extra day at the Excaibur would cost me between $39.00 and $69.00 dollars per room. Karen asked me if I wanted to book and I told her I would call her back. I sent out a email to all of the people that had shown interest asking them to confirm that they still wanted to go before I made the purchase. I also told them I would advance their fee up front so that we did not miss this package. I called Karen back the next day or so and paid $1,350 dollars for 12 people. Karen told me I received a free package for every 4th person booked. I was told I would recieved a confirmation in 7-10 days via a certified letter from USPS with further instructions.

I checked my mail box daily and nothing was there. I happened to be looking in my email there was a email from a Customerservice@travelbycentennial.com. I opened the email and it was a congratualtory email on my purchase of the package. The email also indicated that sense my package was a rush package they made a decision to email it instead of sending it by certified mail. I was given instructions in the email to call the number provided (1-888-609-5515 Greg-activation department) pay a $69.00 booking fee and my vouchers would be mailed out immediately. I called the number immediately and paid for 3 vouchers$207.00. I called the other 9 people planning on attending the affair and told them to call also. I then sent out a email to everyone.

The next day 12/12/2013 I got a call from people going saying the line is busy and they have been trying to get though all day. I tried calling myself and could not get through. I sent a email t custermerservice@travelbycenttenial and told them I was gett suspicious and ask for someone to answer the telephone or call me back Dec 17, 2013. The next day people in the party started getting through. Three days passed and I had not recieved my vouchers. I started calling adventure2remember. I was put on hold and no one ever came back, I was hung up on, I was transferred over to a line which no one ever answered and I was told know one name Karen worked there. Finaly on December 19, 2013 after refusing to hang up the phone a woman said she would check into my vouchers. After 5 minutes she came back and said I should have recieved them they were mailed out. I asked how many and she said 2. I told her the number was incorrect. She said hold on and never came back to the telephone. I held on for 25 minutes. I called back and no one answered the telephone. I had to leave the state so I had someone to get my mail daily.

I was called on December 24th and told that I had a package to pick up from the post office.I returned home on Decembe 26th and picked up the package. after reading the back of the vouchers I became immediately concerned and called the number listed for Spirit Incentives. I was asked to give the certificate number on the back. I asked if I could book my travel dates I had made arrangementsfor and she told me I could not get the dates requested. I told her that I was told I could get my dates. She then told me once I registered the certificates and paid the $198.00 charge I would receive a letter in 3 weeks and at that time I could make my travel arrangements. I again repeated to her what I was told. She told me she could only go by the terms expressed on he back of the certificate. They were only a fullfillment center. I asked if I had enough time from the time I bought the package on December 3, 2013 and she told me no. I called adventure2 remember several times and no one answered the telephone. I called daily until someone answered the telephone I asked to speak with a Supervisor or someone able to make a decision. Finally, Ed came on the telephone and identfied himself as a manager. I told what had occurred. He tolld me he would contact me on the following Monday after reviewing my issue.

On the same day Jan 3, 2013 I received a email that said I should have had enough time for my travel dates to have been met. I responded back and told him again what Spririt Incentives had told me. I got a couple of accusatory emails Jan 2, 2013 . I responded back and since Jan 3 have heard nothing. I am now out of $ 2,109 dollars paid towards this trip and $2, 000 plus more spent trying to have this surprise. I have been duped!
