Adventurer Hotel Tradewinds Airport Hotel LAX RIP OFF I Payed Cash for my Stay but they also Charged my Credit Card Los Angeles California

I stayed at the Adventurer Hotel Lax for two nights in April 2017, when i arrived i asked if i could pay for my stay by cash.

The lady behind the desk said i could which i did and stayed the two nights and checked out as normal.

A few days later i noticed the hotel charged my credit card for my stay so i called the hotel to enquire about the charge and

the lady was not able to find any record of me staying there at all. (she asked me to call the next day and speak to the

manager). I called the next day and was talking to the manager and again she could find no record of me staying there at all.

Her words were are you sure you stayed at this hotel sir ? I assured her i did and she asked me to send her proof of my stay

which i did the next day with the help of the company i booked the hotel through (they sent her confirmation from the hotel

of my stay). Then somehow she found my booking in the system but could not refund me my money because she could not

confirm where in the hotel my card was used (which is hard to believe in this day and age).

The more i called to enquire about the matter the more angry the manager got (saying she had ten thousand more inportant

things to be doing than trying to find out where in the hotel my card was used even though the amount charged to my card

was the same amount to the cent of my stay).

Six weeks later when the booking company enquired about the matter the hotels story changed completely.

They had charged my credit card for my stay at the front desk but they have no record of me paying by cash.

I travel a lot for work and pay by cash in some hotels and never ask for a receipt.

The staff at this hotel took advantage of this, and by the way they erase all records of your stay to make the process as

difficult as possible when you try get your money back. it seems they do this on a regular basis.

BE CAREFULL STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS RIP OFF HOTEL.
