Antoine Lax & Natisa Lax..I Antoine Lax had to park my car in a parking space that wasnt marked NO parking because my car ran out of gas while visiting my sister at her apartment complex. I end up placing my car in someone else parking spot.
They in return called a towing company that wasnt contracted with the apartment complex my sister live in. The manager told my sister, A&E towing AE Recovery and Towing 4540 West Glendale Avenue,Glendale, AZ 85301 (623) 931-7376 .
Wasnt suppose to have towed cars on private property. We had to pay 170.00 in cash that night to get my brother car back, so he wouldnt lose his job. We called A&E Towing and ask for our money to be refunded, they said, they had a right to go on private property and tow the car and their not giving any money back.
There were NO clear sign posted advising the public NO parking.

A real easy solution here. Don't run out of gas! How stupid do you have to be to run your car out of gas? That's the root of the problem here.
Now for the tow. It was NOT illegal. I lived in Phoenix and in AZ in general, and I drove a tow truck there for a few months.
Arizona law says that you were on someone elses private property. You had no legal "right" to be there.
Did you take the time when you first parked your car in someone elses parking space to immediately notify the apartment maneger and/or the tenant of why you parked there? I can bet the answer to this is NO.
How would you feel if you were the rent paying tenant coming home from work to find someone else parked in your assigned parking space? What would you do? Now you have the choice to have that persons car towed out of your space, or park illegally yourself and risk being towed.
Real easy solution here. Don't run your car out of gas and you won't be put in this situation. And, don't make your problem someone elses problem. Real simple.
