Every day we come to work fulfilling peopls dreams and desires, Selling,buying,repairing,trading and consulting on hi end watches Mainly Rolexes, Great team,great business,great customers, If nit for the fun and the people ,the support and long frienships and happiness we give and gt,I would not stay in this business! My business is a reflection of who I am:Be good and Do Good. It is IMPOSSIBLE that we Ever take money and not deliver!!! The complaint described is UNREAL !!! The 10 Moses commandments are the core of our existance and mine in particular. Looking at the details of the 'complaint' -no explorer cost 7200 in 2008 ,we always ship fully insured, why did we ship if the customer lives in San Francisco?(as he claims),why when a watch is not delivered he didnt do a chargeback and got his/her money from the credit card co? Why we dont see any record of that,and when I tried to contact this person she/he never called back, We have thousends of happy and satisfied customers and I never want that even one will nit be happy with me or my company!!! I'm sorry Lisa doesn't have her Rolex? But I have bought several Rolex Watches from A&E Watches, The employee I dealt with, both of them were polite and professional. I got what I considered a good if not anything but fair deal. I enjoyed the effort they put into making sure I was happy with what I purchased. Having been in the Pawn business for years I know a good deal when presented. The owner let me buy a watch out of his personal collection  which he didn't have to do. Anyone that would "buy" a watch sight unseen has a screw loose as far as I'm concerned and maybe the watch was lost,but A&E is in San Francisco why didn't you be going to pick up da watch? I have had things taken while in shipment with UPS, but sending an empty Box?? Check the weight on the package receipt against the box she got.

I've bought 3 rolexs from A&E over the past 5 years. I am an avid collector of high end watches (the Rolex's are my least expensive--they were graduation presents to my kids).  All 3 watches were absolutely authentic at very reasonable prices.  I am extremely happy with A&E, and have referred many of my friends seeking a decent deal on a Rolex to them. 

They also stand by their warranties. One of my kid's Rolex's started running slow about 3 years after I purchased it. A&E had given me an extended 5 year warranty, and they fixed the watch at no cost to me, no questions ask. 

I have no doubt that this dealer treated the consumer unethically. After my totally unstisfactory business transaction with them, I am amazed that they can continue in business, and have not been investigated by the authorities. I orderd a watch from them as well and never received it. I cannot get a refund and have had to resort to other avenues to recover my loss. THE MOST DISHONEST GROUP OF PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!

I believe the initial rip-off report is totally BOGUS. We have purchased TWO authentic Rolex watches from this company, with complete satisfaction. My watch is a pre-owned ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust with custom diamond bezel and face. I received it in september 2006, purchased with the warranty package. This company has been excellent with servicing & customer service. A few months ago we brought it in because it seemed the timing mechanism was slightly off, and they repaired it at NO COST. A month ago a link in the band broke, which and they replaced the band for FREE while we waited.

My boyfriend purchased his Rolex *brand new* and it came in the Rolex box with ALL the paperwork, etc. I believe the person who made this ripoff claim "Elisa" is a liar. There is NO WAY someone would purchase a ROLEX watch on the internet and LIVE in the city of San Francisco and *NOT* personally receive their $7,200 watch in person by driving to the gift center. The city is only 7 square miles, the story makes no sense. If you are going to pay for a Rolex and live in the same city as the seller or even within one hour of the seller, there is no reason the transaction shouldn't be in person.

We were referred to A&E Watches by our jeweler, which is also located inside The Gift Center. Anyone who has REALLY purchased a watch from A&E will have nothing but EXCELLENT things to say about the company. It is a shame people like "Elisa" waste their time trying to ruin the reputation of valid companies.

I never did business with the woman who wrote the complain,I never sold an empty box,always use UPS for the last 20years,never sold an Explorer Rolex for 7000$ -its way above retail(you can see it on my website for 4200-4700).

We never ship merchendise without insurance.

Its very ODD that someone will wire 7200$ as claimed without checking around-especially if you live in San Francisco.

Its a very small city and everybody knows me and my company,Ive been around for 20 years,I have loyal and great customers.

If not for my great relation and good feeling I have here I wouldnt been spending 20 years in AandE.

I am a GOD believing human been,I try to do good and inspire others to do good,cheating is not my way ,Abraham is my role model.

It is hard to believe that this company is being accused as a fraud. Just yesterday, 2/16/09 my wife, my sister, my brother in law together with my son and my daughter in law went to 888 Brannan St. where A&E store is located to shop for some items. Browsing through the many jewelry stores in the complex which is exclusive for referrals only, my brother in law Tom's eye caught some Rolexes displayed in this store. The owner very politely answered our questions about the Presidente watch on display. I was asking most of the questions because I feel that I have some knowledge about the Rolex watches since I own four Rolexes of different kinds including a Presidente.

My brother in law bought this Presidente after checking other stores for prices. The owner has been honest with us from the beginning because without asking him he told us that it was a refurbished one of which I know anyway. The price was right and I was able to convince my brother in law to purchase it. He was given a 3 year warranty for parts and labor if something went wrong with the watch.

I am suspecting that the store is the one being scammed because of the suspicious and inconsistent statements in this complaint. As a merchant, you will always insure something very expensive and valuable when shipped. I and the rest of my family that saw the store are very convinced that this is a reputable store judging by the way we were treated and the authenticity of their product(s). If Elisa lives in San Francisco, why in the world would she order a watch via internet. The store is in the heart of SF and very close in proximity.I will not trust my money in anything that I did not see personally especially a merchandise worth allegedly $7,200.00. Please read this rebuttal carefully as this can break this establishment if interpreted as how the alleged complainant's side.

I am not writing this because I know the owner, I only met him yesterday and I think he is not a scammer but a victim of a scam. I smell dead rat in this lady's complaint. Thanks

You can see This woman is lying saying she shipped money ups insured-you cannot ship cash via ups and insure it.
Explorer 2 is only $5200 how come she will pay $7200 ?
If she lives in S.F why didnt she bring the cash to the store?

We need your help! I filed an initial Rebuttal on January 12, 2009 and this complaint has still not been removed - nor has anyone from your company phoned me. This user made the exact same complaint against us on (((Redacted))) under a different username mjackson. This user is making fraudulent claims against us we need your help to remove this claim. This above is a fraudulent complaint. I work for A&E Watches located in San Franciso. We have had our showroom in the prestigeous San Francisco Gift and Jewelry Mart (www.gcjm.com) for nearly 20 years - we are not an 'Internet' scam company. If we were, we would clearly be out of business. As well, additional confirmation that the above claim is fraudulent is that a Rolex Explorer II 16550 retails for $5, 750.00 - who would purchase a watch from a wholesaler, online albeit for $1, 45.00 over asking price? As far as UPS claiming not to insure merchandise valued at $7, 200.00 - this information is incorrect. Our company does ship through UPS as do the other merchants in our building which include but are not limited to: diamonds; furs; gold; and other high-end merchandise, via an insuranced UPS kiosk in our building called G4S International (www.g4s.com/intl).
