Aeroflow I am a Truck Driver and feel like they fudged on records to make it look like alot of us drivers had sleep apnea IInternet

I was at a truck driver safety meeting and they had all drivers fill out a medical questionaire.  If you answered yes to any of the questions, they sent a pulse oximeter to your home to wear for the night.  The night I wore this device I only slept for about 4 hours, yet they came back saying of the 6 hrs I slept there were several hours of apnea.  My insurance company was charged about 5 thousand dollars for this device. I have never laid eyes on any of these people and they don't even know for sure that it was me wearing the device the night of the test.  This is a very awkward machine to wear and I have a hard time keeping it on at night.  My drivers medical exam has come up and now that I have not wore this machine 70% of the time, I will now lose my job as I can not pass medical exam.  My wife works in the medical field and she said if this was a reliable test, someone should have been watching me for a sleep study to actually document that I have sleep apnea.  I feel like this the only ones who benefit from this company is the company itself and possibly my employer as I feel they probably got some kind of kickback from this. I just think that this is a insurance rip off and now I am losing my job because of this. I don't feel that I have sleep apnea as I have never been a snorer or wake up gasping for air. I would willing to take an exam with a legitimate Dr to check for sleep apnea if this is what I need for a job, but don't think this was done the right way.
