To whom this may concern,

My wife experienced the worst embarrassment at her job with the quality of your jeans, as she was working she dropped something on the floor and when she went to bend down to get it the back end of her jeans ripped in the rear end.

Being embarrassed of the whole situation and people seeing what just happened she got on the phone and called me to bring her one of my big shirts on her lunch break. And ironically enough that same day she was going to return a pair of jeans from your establishment that the side of the jeans ripped as well. The closet location to us of aeropostale is the colleen creek mall area in Plano, Texas.

We went to this location only to find out the asst. manager young Hispanic, dark skin, long black hair, wears it in a pony tail, was going to give her only half for what she paid for. $12.00 plus some change? As expensive as the jeans are alone that would have not bought anything. So then we drove all the way to Grapevine mills mall in Grapevine, Texas. Only to find out that she could not exchange the jean she brought because it did not have the belt with it. After she explained the embarrassment she went through at her job, and everyone saw this and the drive we had to make to go to Grapevine, Texas? The transaction could not be done! So then my wife said we'll how about I take the ones I have on and get something else? So then the Tall black gentleman said yes we can do that as long as u have the belt,

The young lady that claimed to be the asst manager, black young lady, light skin though, well I think my wife deserved a little sympathy for her day and what she went through, NOT well I wouldn't know I don't wear there jeans, and that is company policy, no belt no exchange. So then I asked for the District Managers # and she said well I'll give it to you , but she will say the same thing. I called Annette B. left a message and she never called back this was almost a week ago from today 06-22-04.

All around I am very disappointed with your cheep quality, policy, employees, management and district manager. Next time if it dose occur we will go to a lawyer about this situation and let others know about your company and the rude way you handled things about this, and the quality of your product, We drove from Forney, Texas. That is in Kaufman County 1hour drive to, and from depending on traffic for all of this. I feel that I should be compensated for the gas I wasted, My time, and My embarrassment. I really hope you take the time to give me a phone call about this matter because I am very angry about my wife's embarrassment , time wasted, and the way they spoke to her. You will have 48 hrs before I call my attorney.

Thank you,
Exp. Of letter sent and nothing.

OMG...

Contacting an attorney? Are you serious?

And why are you directing the complaint as it is written to Aero, the company? This website has nothing to do with the company.

Your lawyer should have told you that...

Ridiculous post

AUTHOR: CC - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 28, 2004

I find this post laughable, to put it mildly. First of all, there is no reason whatsoever to mention the race of the employees of the store. What difference does that make in their ability to perform their duties?

Secondly, when your wife purchased the jeans, did she try them on before she left the store to make sure they fit? If you buy clothes too small, you can't very well be surprised when they rip. I see many women walking around in public wearing clothes that are way too tight.

Thirdly, did you check the receipt carefully to confirm the store's return policy? Was the merchandise purchased over 30 days prior to the date of the attempted return? If so, Aeropostale most likely has a similar return policy to other stores in the area: returns within after 30 days get credited with the current sale price.

If that price happens to be lower, that's all you'll get back. Finally, contacting your attorney over a matter this trivial is a complete waste of yours and their time.

Contact Your Attorney For$24

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, July 11, 2004

Cracker comments aside, are you really going to call your attorney for $24? There are just way too many things wrong with this post. Did they fit properly? 2 for 2 ripped, see last sentence. How old were they? I hate to tell you but $24 jeans aren't expensive. 1 hr drive for for $24, you must have alot of free time on your hands.

Compensated for your time, gas, and embarrassment. I thought it was your wife's embarrassment. And to top it off, an ultimatum, 48 hrs. The most you can recover in TX is triple damages 3x24= a whopping $72. Knock yourself out, call your attorney and see what he has to say.

Every now and then I have someone just like you, threaten me with the "I'll call my attorney" line of BS, I hand them my attorney's business card and say, "have your attorney contact my attorney", I'm not talking to you anymore. That shuts them up real fast. Sorry about your wife's embarrassment though.

Racism?

AUTHOR: Eric - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, July 11, 2004

Hmmm.... You sound so racist. What does the color of the managers skin, or hair style have to do with anything?

Quote:

"We went to this location only to find out the asst. manager young Hispanic, dark skin, long black hair, wears it in a pony tail, "

"The young lady that claimed to be the asst manager, black young lady, light skin though, "

Texans... Go figure.
