My so-called health plan with Aetna clearly states that I am fully covered for checkup ups (though once in every TWO years)...however, as I made the unpleasant discovery during my first checkup in TEN years, these unscrupulous thieves aren't even willing to pay for tests for preventative checkups in spite of having given me absolutely NOTHING for the thousands of dollars they have received for SUPPOSEDLY providing insurance which I never used in all these years, until now...and all for a SIMPLE CHECKUP !
After my checkup I was sent a bill for over $250 from John Muire health because AETNA did not cover the tests during my checkup. When I called them and said the tests are preventative, which my health insurance policy clearly states are COVERED, they said they would send me "their" version of their policy which they never did; which doesn't matter because my employer already gave me a copy of what is covered.
I am with United Health now which, of course, means AETNA doesn't care what I think of them as my employer no longer uses these crooks...and AETNA will obviously continue to refuse to cover the preventative blood tests (not to say that United is any better).
IF YOUR EMPLOYER'S HEALTH CARE PROVIDER IS WITH AETNA MAKE SURE YOUR HR DEPARTMENT KNOWS THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE GREEDY CROOKS THAT WILL DENY YOU AS MUCH COVERAGE AS POSSIBLE, EVEN FOR SIMPLE CHECKUPS...which is a very stupid policy as people will avoid checkups and get into more costly health issues later.
As we live in a law of the jungle country, these criminal finance and insurance corporations are free to do absolutely anything they please with no oversight by government to protect consumer interests!
This report will remain online until all my costs, as well as recovery costs are paid by AETNA, currently at $500 plus $750 to cover the cost of preparing this report , at 25% compounded annually.
