In December 1999' Curtis Euegene Lovell 2 owner and operator of A.F.E. Productions a.k.a. ( Awesome Family Entertainment) hired several caricature artists. The artist rendered their services and did not recieved payments for the completed jobs.
In Columbus ,Ohio Lovell refused to pay the artists and breached contracts. Later, in June of 2000 Lovell was sued by several entertainers including the caricature artist for not paying them for their services.
Basically, Curtis Euegene Lovell 2 ocassionally hires entertainers such as, clowns, DJ's and caricature artist, but
will not pay them.
Beware! Curtis Euegene Lovell 2 of A.F.E. Productions is still in business and stills rips off entertainers!
Euegene knows the business well and will appear to be very professional when trying to recruit new talent. Written and verbal contracts has no effect with this individual. Get your money up front!

Greetings
AFE Productions has been in business for over 10 years working with more then 500 local and national acts and over 13000 clients. We strive to please everyone sadly this time we fell short doing so. We take every matter personally and we have set up safe guard systems to keep this type of incident accruing again in the future.
This incident is a misunderstanding between the character artists and AFE.
This character artist was hired to do several events. AFE prepaid her for an event which was canceled and AFE did not receive compensation. In return she rendered her service at another event.
Therefore AFE considered she was paid in full. She did not see it this way. I tried to explain to her our point of view. Her and her boyfriend called our office and left numerous threatening messages. AFE's staff tried to handle this in the most professional manner as possible under the circumstances. No legal action ever rose from this situation.
The caricatures artist is very talented person and we tried to make things right in a reasonable manner and all we asked was to meet us half way.
The other claims about other caricature artists in NYC not being paid are a bogus claim.
We have kindly asked this site to remove such and they have refused. They responded stating they are not concerned if claims are bogus and they support freedom of speech and slander among others. We do not agree or accept these terms of this site. However, we look forward to the postive things that our company will bring in the near and far future.
AFE and their entertainers/vendors share all the same common goal. To provide enjoyment and happiness among guests all over the world.
