Affiliate Traction is the typical 3rd party service that will take your money as an agency service free. In this case we signed on for them to manage our affiliates for $3000 per month and 1% commision for all the team to drive sales for affiliates.
Before we signed onto this service the sales team Anthony (used car salesman) promised the world and why we should sign on with them because they have all the relationships. We signed on because the sales pitch was very good and turns out we got fooled by smoke and mirrors and the communication within this email will show you all that.
When we signed on it was the middle of the month so we prorated the amount of 1600 and when the 1st of the month started we paid another $3000 for a total of $4600 sent to affiliate traciton. It took them over a MONTH to get the account LIVE and nothing happened past that. They came up with excuse after excuse saying we are live, but the affiliates are not live yet and they are working on it
At this point we got another invoice for $3000 and we have had a total of 156 clicks to our website and 6 sales total. The performance was complete crap and when we asked for answers we got snarky responses and excuses after excuse. I continued to press them very hard for answers and that we would not send them more money until they showed us this was not all smoke and mirrors.
After weeks of pressure and a number of excuses they sent us an email terminating our agreement with us. Yup... They fired us because they got tired of us calling them out on the fake service they are and not delivering the goods.
Once we asked for our money back they send us 3 more invoices demanding to be paid for services they did not delivered on. We have requested a full refund of our 4600 and we expect to get it returned asap. We have sent in all communication from this company below with attachments so you can see the crap we put up with while paying $3000 a month. I will make are case visible to anybody that wants it. We want to prevent any other company from getting shafted from this scam of a company.
On 4-23-15, we got a response letting us know the billing department would be in contact about the next steps.
