Affordable Computers 4 months to get PC back, all data and some hardware lost. West Lawn Pennsylvania

4 months to fix my computer, this was after numerous visits and calls. The owner then tried to blame it on me for not bringing him my Windows disc...but they never called and asked for it or told me they needed it in the first place. He then tried to blame it on their old secretary. So many BS excuses, he wouldn't just admit they weren't doing the work. I only found out because I went down to the shop for the 5th time to find out what was going on. I bring the disc in, 3 weeks later still no work done. This was to re-flash the firmware on a drive which takes 15 maybe 20 minutes.

I go in again and tell him if he wasn't going to fix it to let me leave with it. He asks for 24 hours to fix it, 2 days later he calls and one of the two drives was fixed and he kept the other one to try to recover the data. This took place at the end of March.

It is now May 28th and I just left the shop and he told me they lost the hard drive. All my data is gone. When I did get the computer back the case was covered in spilled beer and they didn't even bother to clean it off before they gave it back. They also lost my drivers discs for a few weeks and just found them.

The shop is sloppy, it looks like a trash heap, the techs drink while they are on the job and the owner is a p***k. They overcharged for the little bit of work they did do and lost all my data and some of my hardware in the process. I have no idea how this place stays in business. Warning to everyone, stay away. There's much better shops in the area.

The owner lost my data and doesn't even care. Good luck if you use this place.
