I purchased an EdenPure Model 500 XL portable heater on-line on 11/27/07. It arrived on December 8; it never worked as advertised. A $30 heater would work equally well, except this one cost $297. Then it quit working totally the 2nd week in January.

Today is February 1, and I have spent since then trying to get resolution to my complaint. I have made at least six calls and left messages. These calls are never returned same day. Only once did I get a live person on the phone, who promised me a return authorization be the end of the day Jan. 28. Today is February 1 and no return authorization has been received. I left another message today and have received no return call. There is no address listed on their packing list.

It is obvious that this company has no intention of making good on this product and is just ripping off the public.

We do make good on our products and we have made good on this situation. The unit that is not working for this customer has sold out for the season. We took $50 off the larger 1000XL model (a far superior unit) and sent that to the customer. We also have below the notes from this customers account which shows that we did make attempts to contact the customer and send the RMA number.

Customer called and left message that the unit they have is not working. Try to return the call 1/21 left message on the answer machine for the customer to call us back.

Customer called and wanted to know about the RMA she is waiting on RA number let her know that we didn't receive it and asked to resubmit the information to us and the Ra number would be processed tonight and sent out to her. (was not submited correctly by customer)
