Affordable Water Heaters and Plumbing Inc. $99 visit to light pilot, instead tries to sell you $800 water heater replacement at home depot Internet

The water heater wasn't heating and we couldn't figure how to re-light it.  I called the phone number listed on the water heater for our area and it would cost $99 for the visit from Affordable Water Heaters and Plumbing Inc.  He came, glanced at the water heater and said we needed a new water heater from home depot (without even looking at the pilot light).  He called his boss and returned with a $800 estimate.  As a senior citizen, I felt taken and declined the offer, gave him the check.  I thought he was gone and in a few seconds he returned to my door with his boss on the phone.  The boss asked "how much money do I have?" and I responded, "I got two dollars in my pocket, good bye."  That's when I looked in the pennysaver and found someone who came to relight the pilot, in addition to checking out the air condition for $85.
