If anyone purchases a vehicle from this dealership ensure you have it inspected by your own mechanic beforehand. I purchased a car from A&G last winter and have spent almost $2000 on repairs after the fact.

It started only 2 days after I signed the contract. The engine light came on and we had to drive 86 miles back to Va Beach to have there mechanics look at it. While driving down the black piece outside, between the windshield and the hood flew off the car. When we arrived they didn't want to pay for the repairs needed, as it was not part of the warranty! Finally after my blood pressure went thru the roof, we left the vehicle to have their mechanics (X-pert Auto Repairs) perform $451.58 worth of service. Oh, since we had to be at work the next morning, we had to pay for a rental car that they promised to reimburse us for but never did. This is only 2 days after purchase and they didn't want to pay for this.

When picking the vehicle up, we noticed the rear tire was flat. They kindly told us they didn't fix flats and filled it up and sent us on our way. We paid to have it patched at the Exxon on the corner Baker Rd/Newtown before heading back to Fort Lee.

We also only received one key and keyless remote entry when we brought the car. Little did we know that the key was almost impossible to duplicate. That costed money of course.

February was an interesting month. We spent $394.77 for transmission lines, sensors, oil cooler lines, oil pressure lines, blah...blah....blah.

Did I mention the time in February that the power steering went out on I64 while I was going 70 mph. That was fun. That was a Sunday and I had to be at work that next morning. Needless to say, I didn't make it and got my butt chewed the next morning by my boss- $148.25

Also in February, my family and I were stranded in the middle of the road due to the battery dying. Luckily, I was right in front of the main gate at my base. The military police helped me, my wife, and 3 small children out. I took the battery to AutoZone to be tested, it had no juice what-so-ever!- $72.80 Remember at his point, we had only had the car for 2 months.

We were told to have the rear tires replaced immediately in March when we had some other repairs done (I'm losing track), but money was scarce in my household at that time. So in April, we replaced to the rear tires; especially the one that was flat the same week we purchased it.-$159.54

Also in April, we had to have the tension pulley replaced. When we drove down the road it sounded like a cat was getting slaughtered.- $101.63

We've had even more problems, like the massive oil leak. Anyone know how to get oil stains out of a driveway? After having this repaired, we can still smell old oil burning off the engine or wherever it's coming from.

This is the kicker........... we found out this spring that the A/C didn't work. We finally got that fixed. Forgive me, but we bought the car in the dead of winter. The A/C was extremely cold then. Last weekend we had to have the accumulator replaced. Yes, that also costed, but at least my family is beating the 110 degree heat index.

I know I should have gotten this car inspected before purchasing. If circumstances would have allowed, I would have. That doesn't give A&G the right to sale a vehicle at Blue Book value with all these problems. That in my opinion, is dishonest. And what is even more dishonest is, when we've called to complain or written on numerous occassions to complain, we're treated like the scum of the earth.

When we told them we couldn't just take off from work and drop the car off for an undetermined amount of time/rent a car to return home (dishing out more money), we were told, "Whose fault is it that you live 85 miles away?" Can you believe that? From what we're told, there mechanics don't work on the weekend, so it has to be a weekday.

They even refused to let us speak to the owner. We were told, "Call back tomorrow,""He's currently out of the office,""He'll call you back." Our last letter was addressed to Mr. Loizou himself, but it was intercepted and I'm pretty sure he didn't get it.

Bottom line is, it's not right......at all! You shouldn't sell anything at market price, if it's defective......PERIOD!!! If you do decide to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, make sure you have it checked out before you sign anything.

I've told all my servicemember friends, what kind of service we have received from A&G and they have told there friends. What's funny is......... when I took my vehicle to an auto repair shop in Va Beach for the third time, they asked us where did we buy it. When I told them, they laughed and asked us if anyone had warned me about A&G before purchase.
