AGE Train, A.G.E. Training, AGE Medical or AGE Recruitment...whatever
they may be calling themselves these days, rest assured that this so
called "training company" that "helps" people back into work is nothing
more than a con, a scam, a lie.



They have no jobs and they have no clients. How do I know this? Well I
have applied for over 100 jobs advertised by AGE and have received a
platitude of calls from their so call Consultants and it always ends
the same way a guaranteed interview or job providing my Manuel
Handling and / or First Aid certificates are up to date. My Manuel
Handling and first aid certs are up to date so coupled with my industry
experience I should be certain to secure an interview right? Wrong -
despite the assurances given by AGE staff I have never had an interview
with a potential employer organised by them.



It is my belief that AGE are no more a recruitment agency than they are a credible training company.

I would like to thank everyone for there comments positive and negative.

We are a training and recruitment company, our MAIN aim is to prepare and help candidates to be able to work with in their chosen field. One of the key factors to being able to work within the medical industry is having the right qualifications and certificates.

When we advertise any vacancies we do state all the requirements for the job. Such as First Aid Certificates etc. Once candidates apply to any vacancies we must screen the candidates to reassure they have the qualifications and to reassure any vacancies we forward them to are suitable for them. If the candidate has applied for the vacancy and does not have the correct qualifications even though it is stated on the advertisement we advise them to get them completed.

We do not state that they must complete the training with us, every candidate has the option to go else where or simply not complete it if they do not wish to do so.

If the candidate decides to go ahead with the training with us or else where it does not mean they are guaranteed a job, it means we are able to now start forwarding their CV to potential employers that would be suitable for them.

Once the cv's have been sent it is down to the employer if they wish to contact the candidate and employ the candidate.

If the candidate does not get the vacancy we keep them on file and continue to forward their CV as and when appropriate.

Responsibilities of A.G.E Training Ltd.

A.G.E Training Ltd promises to deliver the Training solutions to professional standards which are in accord with an agreed course syllabus and in line with any HSE regulations.

As part of this professional standard, A.G.E Training Ltd will only use suitably Qualified Instructors to deliver the training solutions. All Training will be delivered in harmony with agreed course schedules. A.G.E Training Ltd will use its own equipment where possible. Relevant course material will be provided for each student. The student will be expected to provide their own note books and writing tools. A.G.E Training Ltd will endeavour to Train all students to a high standard and that all efforts will be made to help students that find learning in a course environment challenging through carrying out alternative teaching formats where possible. However A.G.E Training will not be liable for students who fail to achieve the desired standards through a lack of application, attendance or learning difficulties.

Cancellations and refunds for short courses

Please be aware that due to the process of booking instructors and ensuring classes will run on schedule we are unable to give any refunds for any cancellations made after 7 days of booking the course, we have a 7 day cooling off period where a 50 administration charge of the full course price will apply. A failure to sign this agreement will not affect the 7 day cooling off period and the level of refund permitted. All refunds are expected to take a minimum of 28 working days to be received. No refunds will be issued if the course is less than 5 working days away. No refunds will be issued if the course is not attended.

Changes to short courses and Payments

Course dates can be changed without any charges, as long as there is more than 3 working days notice from the course date; or if due to injury or illness, a medical note is supplied.
All course balances must be paid in full 3 working days prior to the course, otherwise entry to the course may be refused.

Course Cancellations procedure for corporate clients

Cancellations for any course that is part of this agreement must be made at least 72 hours in advance by telephone and e-mail. In the event that a course cannot be run at the agreed day and time then A.G.E Training agree to notify the client 48 Hours in advance of such a cancellation and will provide an alternative course date. Failure to arrive at any course over 20 minutes late will result in not being permitted to enter that training. No refund will be given if you miss a course due to lateness. If a deposit has been paid within 7 days off the course commencing, and the candidate chooses to cancel, they will receive all monies minus 50% of the whole course cost. The first full day of the 7day cooling off period starts from the date course is booked either in full or via deposit.

Responsibilities of the client

All students are expected to arrive on time for every training session and remain until each class is concluded. The client agrees to inform A.G.E Training ltd of any injuries or illnesses that may put the student or any other course attendee at risk to their health. If a student arrives over 20 minutes late for any class, they will not be allowed to enter, and will not receive a refund for their course.

Employment.

A.G.E Training does not guarantee employment to any student as a result of Purchasing and attending any of its training courses. However A.G.E Training will where possible do its best to assist students that attend courses to find suitable employment. This will depend on suitability of the student to a clients requirement, and whether or not there are any vacancies. A.G.E reserve the right to select candidates for interviews with its clients or refuse to forward information regarding employment opportunities to any student who has purchased one or more of its courses. This applies to all courses run by A.G.E Training Ltd.
