Air Care Medical Refused to accept returned machine n firstt day of 3 day grace period Clovis California

I received a telephone call asking me to complete a few survey questions (I knew better, but..) and in return I would receive a free two night, three day vacation package. After that call I received anothor call and this time the young lady informed me a gentleman would deliver the certificate I had won right to my doorstep, and in return I would just have to give my "honest" opinion on the "hybrid".  Not sure what the "hybrid was, but I can give an honest opinion, so a time was arranged.  

Well what showed up was a "Salesman" with a U2 Patriot Air Cleaner (really a vacuum cleaner). The product was impressive.  It cleaned my rug, hardwood floors, tile floors, and aggergate floors. And VERY expensive, but the salesman was very helpful in getting the price reduced and finding financing for me.  

He did provide me with a form that allowed me to cancel within a 3 day period from the date of purchase.  So I took it in to their main office in Clovis and the person there REFUSED to accept the machine, and told me because it was a "medical machine" I couldn't return it.  I later found out the man was the owner of the company. I ask him to sign a paper showing that I had tried to return the product and he refused. I ask hime to sigh a paper showing that he had refused receipt of the machine and again he refused.  He said the salesman had to pick it up at my house.  I live in Coarsegold, and the Salesman in Fresno, so why couldn't I leave it for the Salesman?  Just couldn't do that!

Of course, he thought the Salesman could convince me to keep it. I am beginning to wonder if this compsny preys on senior citizen.  I would like to hear from anyone who is a senior citzen who has been vitimized by this company.  They are not an ethical company and need to be put out of business.
