I am thinking twice about adopting this english bulldog from a guy in Alaska. He was giving them away all i had to pay if for the shipping fee which is 200.00. He had called me a few times for me to feel more comfortable then he said he had taken the dog to an agency and they will contact me which they did a few hours later and said the dog was approved and gave me the identification number and a microchip number. they told me to go to a western union to pay. I will provide the messages and the website to get your feedback. I checked the agency website and don't know if its legit or a scam. Can u help me please! is it a scam?

Total Scam

I ran into a similar issue when I tried to find a new home for my chihuahua. All kinds of people replied to my ad, and they all wanted me to ship the dog using THEIR pet service. All I had to do was cash the bogus check they sent me and then send a few hundred bucks to THEIR shipper. Two scams in one :-) I replied to all of them that I had my own pet transport service and that's when the emails stopped :-) go figure...
Please visit your local pet shelter or licensed breeder if you want a dog.

Could it be more obvious???? First they want you to send someone you don't know money via Western Union. All scammers insist on this because that's the only way they can steal your money without leaving a paper trail.
Second, this is supposedly a transaction to pay for shipping a dog from Alaska. Doesn't it seem strange that they want you to send money offshore to CAMEROON??
Come on! All these people have are a few pictures of a dog and they get people to send them money.
If you actually buy into this, I'll tell you how it will work out. You send them $200. Then they tell you that the dog is on it's way, but they need another $xxx for a vet inspection. If you send that, then they'll come up with some other bogus fee that has to be paid. They'll keep doing this until you finally catch on and realize that there never was a dog and these people were getting you to send them large amounts of money for no reason.
