Air Duct Surgeons This company had no clue what they were doing that's the problem Hollywood Florida

Air duct surgeons is a nationwide network of air duct cleaning companies. The local company I used is in Hollywood, FL. You have to purchase Air Duct Surgeons special equipment to become a member. The main company claims that all members have been properly trained to use this equipment and have the highest customer service standards. The guys that came just purchased the equipment recently within the last few weeks which I found out after the fact. I thought when I booked the appointment I was talking to the owner of the local company but even though you dial the 954 areacode the call goes to the parent company somewhere in Indiana. I guess even the parent company has to keep their network honest with their highly trained technicians somehow.

They came in with this rotobrush machine and giant canister vacuum. They wore no respirator or face mask and were literally choking as they were cleaning the ducts. I said to them shouldn't you be using the vacuum in the duct as you are rotobrushing and they said we use the vacuum at the end and tie it into your duct work to draw out any loose debris that’s left. The vacuum was NEVER turned on. Every time they used the rotor brush machine the 35’ rotobrush brush would bunch up and whip around the room, evidently they did not know how to use this machine (this unit if not used properly can cause serious injury and considerable damage) The one tech if you want to call him that was covered from head to toe in soot from the duct cleaning and so was my house.

The cleaning comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee (in writing) so I called the main company at 888-322-DUCT and spoke to a representative who described what the cleaning procedure entails. His description and what actually took place never happened. He assured me someone would get back to me and that was over a week ago. At this point I would never let these guy's back in my house and the only satisfaction I want is having my money refunded so I can hire a duct cleaning company that actually knows what they're doing. All this company did was knock the dirt loose off the walls of my ducts and whatever didn’t fall on their heads is now in my ductwork which I now have to have removed. This entire event was more a comedy of errors than a cleaning. "Air Duct Surgeons operated but the patient died." By the way $399.00 is not a cheap venture to get a NUTHIN MUFFIN.
