Babara Baxter of Winnemucca, NV claimed she had English Bulldog puppies available to a good home. I contacted her and she agreed to ship puppy to me. She had contact information for Air Pet Cargo Delivery Service (Animal Courier Air Pet Cargo Delivery Service, Jet Pet Shippers) sent to me. They wanted upfront payment of $200 to ship puppy.
I paid the $200 per their instructions (I should have been more alert because they wanted the funds sent via Western Union to an individual in Cameroon - Nana Mbony).
The next day I got another email from the shipping service wanting an additional $420 for insurance fees to ship the puppy. At this point I realized I was dealing with scam artists.
I should have checked out the service before sending money - I was too trusting.
My advice: Do not deal with anyone in the United States who uses a service which demands you send your money to a foreign country and for which you cannot find a physical address.
