Subject: Complaint About AIU ONLINE UNIVERSITY RIPOFF

AIU also dismissed me and said it was because I failed my class', but I passed with a C. The only hold up was financial aid was pending. They kicked me out due to that, and I also applied for a consolodation and hardship loan because they refused to base my loan on my income of 579 a month.

They wanted me to pay 372 after I was told I would only have to pay 152 amonth when I first enrolled. I did not however get dismissed untill they got my pell grants. This school is morally and socially unjustified in there actions. I can not afford a lawyer and I sure hope there is someone out there that can.

The dean Randy Smith at 1-877-221-5800 ext.15233 will not pick up or my Student Advisor Kimberly Brown. They have caller Id as well. And also if the students have not figured it out yet in the lower right corner when they get into the mail room, check out going messeges, they record everything from what you are saying back and forth on the messenger.

They can also block you from talking to other students as well and use what you say for grounds of dismissal with out you even knowing it. A lot of us were warned not to use messenger through the school for that reason and not to use their mail system or yahoo.

This school needs to not just be closed but audited, federally investigated and we should all be reimbursed. It should be checked to see how many students got dismissed each quarter on grounds of grade dismissal when it was financial aid. The umbudsmen called me to let me know I could fill out an appeal but it is not a guarantee that I would get back in to school but a blessing to be off for 5 weeks and think of it that way, after cramming class' for so long.

Well I am sorry I can't think of that way with all the money put into it and all my time. 28 credits, and 11 classes to go, how many more students were dismissed this quarter and how many more are being cheated out of their degree and monies? Someone needs to help us and look into this PLEASE!!
