The dispatcher / owner of AKRA Express agreed to haul a shipment of produce for me on Saturday 4/26/14 from Pearsall,TX to Dallas,Tx. A total of 335 miles for a rate of $1000 ( which is extreemly high) but i needed a truck so i agreed. We exchanged paperwork and signed rate confirmations. We had a deal. Saturday morning i confirmed that we were okay to load. I connected Ramfis with my shipper, in turn they communicated with each other to get the load picked up. At around 4pm eastern time the shipper calls me looking for the truck. I made numerous calls and texts to Ramfis which he did not answer and still hasnt. No call no show!
Do not trust them they are not going to do what they agreed to do no matter if you have a signed rate confirmation and talk to driver and dispatcher. Bad carrier!
