Collins College deceptive, insane dept, terrible education, laughing stock when it comes to getting jobs Tempe Arizona

It has been nearly 7 years since my husband obtained his "degree" from Collins College.  We moved to Arizona for him to attend Collins College and it was the biggest mistake we have ever made.  They preyed on our emotions and lied to us every step of the way.  They lied about graduation rates, job placement, expected wages, the amount of the loan and the interest rates.

When my husband realized this mistake it was already to late.  We were already in an incredible amount of debt after only the first quarter and we only took out enough to pay tuition.  And due to their 5 week class sessions no credits would transfer to another more credible school.  We decided it would be best to just finish and make the best of it.  But, there was really nothing to make the best of.

The instructors were sub par and with only 5 weeks to each class nothing more than an overview was taught.  As the thought of loan repayment drew near I began to look into what others were saying about their loans and Collins College in general.  It was accross the board negative.  With comments like "my loan amount doubled before I was even out of school."

Now 7 years later they are begining wage garnishment.  It took 7 years after obtaining a BA in Interactive Media for my husband to find a job paying what Collins College said was the starting wage for a graduate of the program.  This job isn't even in his field of study and the name "Collins College" is a joke to put on a resume.  Now that we have this income that we can live on - still on the poverty line, living paycheck to paycheck we are at risk of getting that taken away.

The last 7 years would have been better spent skipping college and working at Starbucks.  He would be making much more money now, we would have good health insurance and we wouldn't have $190,000 of student loan debt keeping us from buying a house and feeding our children good food.

I want to join or begin a class action lawsuit against this school, Collins College, who I know has wronged so many wide eyed hopefulls just looking for the American dream.  If you have had a similar experience and want to stand up for what is right help me get this going or let's all band together with one of the many groups trying to start a class action lawsuit against this disgrace of a school called Collins College.
