On August 18, 2013 my wife and myself met with a pool design consultant Mr. Jon Rodgers with Alaglas Pools after a consultation and explaining to Jon Rogers what we wanted we had decided to go with a Malibu style fiberglass pool for a little over $18,000.00

Jon Rogers, my wife and myself went out to the yard placed tape measures on ground to validate the placement of the new pool. We talked about the fact that retaining walls were not necessary,  Jon Rogers assured us that retaining walls were not needed as the pool would go into the hole to be dug and the dirt would be compacted around it and form a nice gradual slope toward the outside of the yard. WE also discussed that a crane was not needed due to the size and location of the pool, Jon Roger explained that the pool would be brought in the back yard with a slant truck that only need 7.5 feet of clearance. at this point we signed the contract and gave a $7,500.00 deposit. Jon Rogers told us our new pool would be installed Wednesday August 28, 2013

Monday August 19, 2013 the following day after the deposit was given Alaglas Pools deposited the check, requested building permits from the city of Irmo, ordered the construction of the fiberglass pool shell.

I phoned Jon Rogers on Tuesday August 20, 2013 to confirm that the fiberglass shell was ordered and being built before I had sprinklers re-routed trees and shrubs removed to pre-pare for the installation crew. Jon Rogers told me yes the pool was being built but the installation was re-scheduled for friday August 30, 2013 which was fine.

Saturday August 24, 2013 we received information from Alaglas pertaining to the expectations prior to, during and after the installation.

On Thursday August 29, 2013 the day before the installation Mr. Frank Bradshaw (contractor hired by Alaglas to install) showed up at my home at 8:00am to view the installation site and make any preparations he would need to make before beginning the installation the following morning. When Frank Bradshaw went to the backyard he said a crane was ordered to lift the pool over the house and they would be setting up in the front lawn and would damage the front landscape (which Jon Rogers said we did not need) I informed Frank Bradshaw that he was to use a slant truck to bring the pool in as we discussed with Jon Rogers. Frank then informed me that we would need to install retaining walls and he could do that but not for two weeks and at a cost of around $8,000.00, i began to get upset with the project at this time Frank Bradshaw called the owner of Alaglas Juanita Perez.

Juanita Perez called me to inform me that they would not be installing the pool on Friday but we would get it worked out and she would call me later in the day with my options, after repeated and failed attempts to call her and Jon Rogers the following day finally Jon Rogers called me back and informed me that they were waiting on prices for the retaining walls.

No contact from Alaglas, Juanita Perez or Jon Rogers all weekend (Labor Day) finally Jon Rogers informed me on Tuesday 9/3/2013 the price of the retaining walls would be an additional 9,100.00 and he himself would'nt do that and if we wanted a refund of our deposit he would talk with the owner Juanita Perez.

On Tuseday 9/10/2013 we received a check for $6,500.00 a thousand less than our deposit when i called to speak to Jon Rogers or Juanita Perez they both avoided the calls and would not return any calls but left it to the girl that answers the phone (Kelly) to tell me that Alaglas was charging me for building the pool that they could'nt install at the contracted price.
