I had them service a ww2 German military watch by them in February it took over 3mos to have it returned and then only after i told them i wanted it back...well the watch reverted back to having the same problem it was having before they sent it off so i called them told them it was having the same problem and wanted a refund(i planed to have it fixed else where)...was told no problem..so i go to the store show the lady the watch she could not get it to wind..then Joe i guess the manager comes out looking at the watch messes with it gets it to run and work..i could have done that..but the hands don"t move forward only backward he says thats normal..its NOT and i can mess with the winding knob to get it to work for awhile but a serviced repaired watch should not have to be messed with to get to work..that was the problem i had before thats why i sent it off to be fixed...so he does"t want to refund my money back(told me he was going to but i had a nasty attitude) he acts like he will fix the watch..so i ask for a refund till its fixed.. he then says he will send it off..this is to the same people who did"t fix it right the 1st time, that took 3mos to get back from..i paid them the 1st time and the watch was"t fixed properly..so i just wanted a refund..and his blaming me and saying the watch worked is wrong..a fixed watch the hands move forward with the watch stem..and does"t need to be played with to get to work..he never intended to refund my money only to blame me.

Refund given and watch ready for pick-up.

POSTED: Thursday, September 13, 2012

We at here at Alan's strive to provide excellent customer service. We do whatever is needed (within reason) to meet our customers needs. We shipped the watch out for repair. This was a special repair and required additional time. When the customer asked for a refund one was provided. We offered to ship the watch back to have it looked at again. The watch is in working order and ready to be picked up at any time. We did everything we could to make this customer happy. I am sorry the customer still felt it necessary to leave negative feedback.
