Alarcon and Associates Rory Alarcon Loan Modification Scam Holbrook, New York

I have been working with Alarcon and Associates since July of 2011 working on a loan modification with them for my Bank of America loan.  They have taken almost $3000 from me before I cancelled the card they were billing me on and I am still in process.  I never receive any updates, constantly am asked for more updated bank statements and paycheck stubs and yet have not moved forward in the process at all.  I was 4 payments behind when this happened and since have caught myself back up and yet there is absolutely NO work being done by them.  I have even called into the bank myself to learn that the process has been re-started over 3 times with them and it is not even under review.  This company makes you feel good, makes you think that they can help you only to take your money and run!  They hope that eventually you will get tired of ALWAYS following up with them and lose interest.  I have also been bounced between 5 different people that are handling my case, although the last one has supposedly been working on it for the last 5 months.  STAY AWAY from this company and do not ever pay for services upfront from anyone asking to do a modification.  I have since been working with a non-profit company and they are moving my loan forward and it is actually in the review process.  This company is a SCAM and they are no better than the mortgage brokers that wrote all these bad loans to start with so they are back to taking money from honest, good and hard working people and do nothing more than just scamming them out of more money and more money.  Wonder how long until we have a modification meltdown as well.
