This is not about Alcohoot as much as it is about an obviously false and misleading report against a startup company that has been vetted and honored by several experienced organizations such as the Kairos Society. Mr. Greenwald, if indeed that is his name, makes wildly spurious claims without offering any shred of evidence. Any actual facts presented, e.g., the $100,000, have been misrepresented. That amount is the original angel investment, something the founders have openly discussed in various media. 

Any "serious investigations" done by "an attorney by trade and profession" would find nothing even remotely close to the mostly anti-semitic rant of his complaint. 

My educated guess, and it is far more educated than anything Mr. Greenwald claims, is that, at best, the alleged Greenwald is a mask for a competitor who is trying to stall a potentially better idea/product. At worst, he is a racist, bigoted xenophobe who doesn't have the first clue to what this country truly stands for. 

He asks, " I encourage more to come forward if you know about these deceptive crooks, so we can shut them down!!!" Well, I am coming forward as a person who knows far more about this company than he does as I am a business writer working on an article about them and similar student innovations for a major magazine. That's how I came across his rant. If there was anything close to what he claims, there is no way that their product would have gotten to this stage. Will it succeed? I don't know. I do know that the alleged Mr. Greenwald shouldn't stay off the meds.

While there are many good reasons to have a site like this, the report against these students is the example of why un-vetted complaints do far more damage than good.
