Alejandra Guerrero Photography Photographer Did Not Deliver Chicago Illinois

I found this photographer on Model Mayhem. I thought her potfolio looked good and she was in  my price range. She told me she could give me great photos and was excited about my ideas and wardrobe. She said she was very experienced and professional. She also told me she could photoshop anything , that she was "a pro at photoshop". 

We shot one afternoon, however she dod not have an asistant with her as I thought she would. She did not have a working flash or diffuser on her camera. After I told her I needed a lot of light on my face, I knew this from previous shoots. I have also been photographed with a diffuser or flash. She left her reflector in the car, so did not even use a relector but promised me everything was OK. I again expressed my concerns and told her I needed ample light on my face.

She ignored my concerns telling me everything would be OK, and she was an expert retoucher. She actually photographed me with the natural light behind me and again tild me not to worry. I know that back lighting someone will show more flaws on the face, but she rreassured me everything was fine.

She drove me around from location to location and thinking back now realize she had a very amateur camera and no equiptment.

She ended up photographing me in a very bad area of Chicago but reassured me it would look great.

She then  (after the shoot) rather than taking me back to where she picked me up, told me I could call myself an uber and wait in her car.

After the shoot, I paid her her fee, what she agreed to, in cash.

Then I never heard from her, she told me she was too busy and had other clients. She was traveling to and from LA and couldnt work on the images.

She told me she would narrow it down and send me her recommendations. I never received a list of her professional recommendations.

When I finally saw all the images, I was hoffified! The lighting was not only awful, but the composition and backgrounds were unprofessional.

She cut off my limbs in several shots, the buildings behind me were crooked and things were shot at a very strange angle. Also seberal shots were out of focus.

I expressed my concerns and was very disappointed. I treated mysewlf to this photoshoot for my birthday. She reassured me shed make them look great but was traveling again. I waited because she could " not work on the images from out of town" again she was "too busy with other clients" .

Finally she retouched the 6 images she promised. They were unsatisfactory because she was very inexperienced and limited in her photoshop capabilities. If I asked about something needing retouching, she said she "could not do it" or "it would look fake" but initially she said she was a "photoshop wizrad". 

Anyway, I ended up with two photos that were Ok but the other 4 I could not use because they were out of focus or just poor lighting and very poor retouching.. I let her know I was very disappointed but never heard back. She never offered to reimburse me , refund me or at least partial refund or offer to continue to improve what she shot. 

After spenfding all this time and money , I have nothing to show for it. I received only  photos that are just OK, mediocre.
