Alex bell veterinary clinic Dr.Diehl Caged cats for several years, several of his clients that are older and have alot of money, he over charges and does things that do not need done simply because he knows they will pay and not ask questions. Centerville Ohio

I worked for Dr. Diehl for a little over a month. At first he seemed like a great doctor, like alot of people thought,, especially older people with money. Well anyone with money really. I started to notice right away the things hat he was doing and came home daily to tell my husband, this is not a man i want to work for. He over charges clients and tells them they need this and that when in fact they do not simply because he knows hey will pay with no questions asked. On top of this he works employees over 40 hours a week, which is great when you really need the money to support your family and cant wait to get your paycheck with all your overtime hours on it. Problem  is he does not pay his employees any overtime. I have a child that i pay child support for. As soon as he heard this, knowing i am the soul provider for my son at home, he cut my hours down to 10 hours a week to make me have no other choice but to get a new job. Why would he do this...well because he doesnt want to pay an accountant to deal with my case. If this was an issue for him maybe he should bring this up in an interview before he hires somebody and leaves them no money to support heir children. Heartless. That is not the only thing he is heartless about though. I saw a few claims of him caging a dog for several years for a court case and then putting him down when he was of no use to him anymore. He has several cats that he has caged in the kennels that have been there for years. People bring their pets to him to help them but when they get their outrageous bill they cant pay it and have no choice but to leave their pet because he holds them from their owner. They are then held in kennels until they, or anyone pays the bill in full. He would rather cage an animal for their entire life then let it have a loving home with someone, where it belongs, just because he wants money. There was actually a cat that was taken to a no kill shelter, cute kitten actually, by one of our employees. He had her go back and tell them she made a mistake it was to be a clinic pet to ensure she get it back for free. He claimed to have someone looking for a kitten. He contacted her and she did want the kitten. Dr.Diehl then performed a spay and declaw on the pet and charged her $600. This was much more then the woman could afford and the kitten is now being caged in the clinic, where no one knows but employees, until the woman or anyone pays ths bill in full. I actually had someone who would have provided this cat with a loving home and told him. He in turn wanted them to pay the bill in full before they could have it. No one will pay this, no one. So there is now a kitten that will be spending its entire life in a cage when he had it taken from a shelter where people come to purchase a cat for their family. She will be tucked away in the back where no one knows about her, no one sees her, but staff. She missed out on a home simply because he thought he could make some extra money from this woman. I thought part of being a veterinarian was because you have a passion for animals. I see no passion at all. Nothing matters but money to him. He should think about what makes him his money and treat them a little better. I no longer work there as f the 3rd. I in fact got my bill in the mail today from him. See he offers employees a 20 percent discount on things purchased. I purchased my dogs food there, while employeed and payed on it. He then sent me a bill terminating my discount and it put my balance way higher then it should have been. So not only did he cut my hours down to where i couldnt even afford to take care of my son, he then did this to me. What a wobderful man. My advice to everyone out there...NEVER NEVER TAKE YOUR PET TO ALEX BELL VETERINARY CLINIC...NEVER EVER TAKE A CHANCE AND WORK FOR THS MAN.
