I was told by these people I would have to pay $125 cash upon arrival before my appliance could even be looked at, but that the $125 would be credited towards the final bill. After the repairman looked at the oven, I was told I had to pay a balance of $479 now, and that they would return in a week to repair it. I wrote the $479 check to repair my thermador oven which I was told had a bad computer in the hood.

That night, after investigating, I found out I was being overcharged, so I contracted out to another company to repair the stove. I asked the original company to tear my $479 check up because I found another company to repair my oven, at a much better price. I was willing to take a loss of the original $125 cash I paid for the house call. The service manager told me they were willing to reduce the price $150. I said still I didn't want to use them (the other company was still cheaper, even after sacrificing the original $150). I was told that my $479 check would be torn up.

A few days later, I found out my check was cashed. Stupid me had failed to put a stop payment on the check. I couldn't believe a business would actually cash my check when no service was ever performed.

I contacted the company several times and was told I was not getting a refund, even though the service was never done.

DO NOT TRUST THESE COMPANIES!!!!
