All My Sons in West Palm Beach, Florida moved my stuff on June 1, 2006. First they wanted to deliver it a few days later after I had told them I would be in North Carolina. They called from the road on 6/16/06 at 11:30 p.m. to let me know that they were going to deliver my furniture and boxes that night. Thankfully they called my cellphone and got my voice mail.

That didn't stop them though. They called 5 times in all that night (or I should say the next morning up until 1:30 a.m.). So the next day they told me they would have delivered my stuff at 1:00 a.m. in the morning!

They worked super fast. My husband called off the numbers on the boxes and I checked them off on the inventory sheets.

When all the stuff was unloaded I discovered that 5 boxes of my school stuff (I'm a teacher) were missing. They could not explain where my stuff was, but said when they found it they would bring it up on another trip.

I also found that I had some stuff that belonged to someone else because the container was the same as mine. I called All My Sons to let them know and they said they would pick it up on the next trip and deliver it to the person.

End of story: I have made repeated phone calls. They do not return my calls. The owner refuses to return my calls. I am really angry about this. I don't know if I have any recourse in small claims court, but I think I will contact Channel 5 News.

I hope the word gets out on the lousy company so they don't continue to rip people off, destroy their stuff and lose their stuff!

I have spoken with the consumer and am handling her complaint. Our warehouseman has been conducting a search of our facility to see if the items were possibly left behind. Our dispatcher has been in the process of calling every customer that our truck delivered to on that trip.

It should be noted that the customer did not indicate that any items were missing at the time of delivery. Also, the customer signed an ackowledgement that all items were delivered.

However, I have mailed out a claims form for the customer to fill out and mail back. Upon receipt of the claims form, the customer's claim will be processed.

The ultimate goal for our company would be to locate any items that may have been left behind at our facility or locate any misdelivered items. In any event, the customer's claim will be handled. I respectfully request some patience as situations as these are not always handled as fast as we would like.
