All My Sons Moving & Storage/AMS Claims Department Unacceptable delay in processing claim for damaged items during move in December 2013 Bluffton South Carolina

There were several items of furniture damaged during the move, the main one being the roll-top of a roll-top desk. It is now concave, won't slide. and is unable to be opened, which means the desk is unusable.

I filed the claim within the allotted time period (March 2014) and still have not received compensation. I call the office every couple weeks and am always told that they will get someone to handle it right away. First they told me they had approved a check to be sent, then I was told several times that someone would come out to repair the furniture. No one ever showed up or called to make an appointment. Now again I've been told that a check was sent out on Septemebr 12, 2014, which I have never received. The AMS Claims Department now does not answer the phone. The local office continues to say they will get right on it, but that is nothing but a run-around.

Don't trust what they say and don't use them as your moving company!
