I have been conned just like everyone else. I received a call from David Newbury (employee id no 4134) after hitting a pop up on net. Like all others I was very doubtful of this offer. I explained to guy that as a lone parent and a college student that I could not afford such a trip even at a discount. He said he would phone me back the next day at same time. I wrote down phone no from my caller id and rang it myself to check if it was live. I had no problem getting through on that occasion.

He did return my call the next night and gave me the sales pitch which was stunning. I questioned every step and even asked to speak to a supervisior, Darwin Scott, to ask more detailed questions as I have 4 children and wanted to know if there was high penalties on extras. He reassured me that they could provide family rooms for me at no extra cost, as I was one of only a handful picked from Ireland. I still asked for time and also phoned my c/c company for advise , to no avail.

As you can see I was still very unsure as I wrote everything down just in case. I entered company name in google search engine all I found was their site.
I paid the money $898 and received my vouchers in time for christmas.

Voucher no 12756372 which I was given on phone does not appear anywhere on the vouchers.

Yesterday I went to call them after finding cheap flights to make sure dates were avail. Surprise suprise no answer on any of the numbers and I have a few:

I need advise on getting my money back as I had to auth transaction on my card and company now saying tough.
Please help as I can little afford to lose this amount of money

I read the vacation transfer voucher and it states th recipient:
"who will attend a sale presentation during part of a morning or afternoon on the benefits of acquiring an ownership interest at our timeshare resort Florida".

Result! Just got refund from credit card company after 115 days!

Hi all,

Just found out today that my money has been refunded in full by mastercard (not ASTAR). I was very lucky.

When I disputed the transaction I had only 5 days left to do so (out 120days standard c/c policy).

I had to provide : copies of vouchers, phonebills, link to this site, and returned emails.

They told me that this was a simple "cut and dry case" and refunded my money within 24 hours of receipt of all documents.

I hope this helps anyone whose 30 day cancellation period is up.
