All Seasons/Steve Mason Con Artist Contractor in Chicago Chicago Illinois

Beware of a man named Steve Mason. They were working under the company name of All Seasons, but this name might change, as it is not a registered business name with Steve Mason as the owner. He, and two other con-men will come uninvited, and approach senior citizens living alone in the Chicago area. They will find some flaw on the senior's home (roof, cracks in the cement, asphalt maintenence) stairs that need work, etc.) They will claim to be working in the area, and will offer a "discount" for their work. They will claim they really need the money because they have families, and Stve Mason claims to have an autistic child, which I doubt is true. He uses high pressure to hire him/them on the spot. They will refuse to give an estimate, sign a contract of an agreed price, and practically force the senior citizen to hire them. When asked about the cost of the work, he will tell you, "It won't be bad". When asked about the price, he will repeat this line over, and over again. They will indeed to work on said senior's property, but it will often be very shoddy work that he will charge exorbitant fees for. Three men working for one hour, he will demand a payment in the mid-thousands. He will also ask if the senior has any more money, trying to clean them out. He is a con-artist contractor. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! At the time of the incident, he was driving a blue 1994 Chevrolet Silverado with a matching blue pick up cap over the pick up bed. We have called police. I had taken extensive photographs of him and his men from inside a building without him realizing, but he will likely still be operating, until an arrest is made. He is a fast talker, and smells a little (seriously, one thing I also remember about him)
